BGV Pitch flips the traditional pitch experience on its head. We coach founders, host a live crowdfunded pitch competition, and connect them to community and professionals ready to support their journey.

Each founder takes the stage for 3 minutes, followed by a 2-minute Q&A — and the winner is chosen by the crowd, not a panel.

In 2025, BGV Pitch traveled to cities including Austin, Chicago, New York, and LA, awarding up to $15,000 in prizes and unlocking life-changing introductions for founders who had never had access to a room like that before.

Pull Up & Pitch was created to remove the invisible barriers that keep many founders from ever stepping into a funding space. It brings entrepreneurship out of formal venues and into neighborhoods, parks, campuses, and community spaces, meeting founders exactly where they are.

This program is intentionally designed to lower the threshold for participation. Founders do not need polished decks, extensive preparation, or insider knowledge. They need an idea, the courage to show up, and a community willing to listen. Pull Up & Pitch affirms that access should feel approachable, not intimidating.

Since inception, Pull Up & Pitch expanded BGV's reach by creating hyperlocal entry points into the ecosystem for founders who might not otherwise see themselves reflected in traditional pitch environments.
